We traveled to KY to visit Jason's family for Thanksgiving this year. We left on Wed night and encountered some unusual traffic in
STL that turned our 4 hour trip into a 6 hour trip. After finally arriving we got to catch up with Vicki,
Stef and Ryan. We realized it had been almost a year since we had seen them. We usually do not go that long without a visit, but with the combination of our chaotic careers this year and Vicki's new work schedule it made it tough to coordinate a visit. Vicki and
Stef slaved over a wonderful Thanksgiving meal, which we all stuffed ourselves on. Apparently baby did not enjoy the
Thanksgiving dinner as much as I had and decided to make me very ill. I was feeling so badly, we had to cut our trip a little short. At least we will get a chance to do some more visiting next weekend when we go back for Stefanie's baby shower.
More fascinating developmental facts:
- Teeth started to form
- Baby is now the size of a dime and weighs less than a peanut shell
- Arms are now developed and proportionally sized
