Our last day - more Magic Kingdom

Our last full day in Orlando, and we spent it at the Magic Kingdom.  It was hot that day, and we started to get a little weary around dinner time.  We found somewhere air conditioned for dinner and rested up so that we could finish our day.  We rode all of our favorite rides again, some of them more than once.  We shopped our way down main street and out of the park in the evening.  We were sad to see our first family vacation to Disney World come to an end, but we were glad that we had a ton of memories to take home with us.

Hayden still wakes up every morning and asks me "What we going to see, Mommy?" or "Can we go to the Castle today?".  He really had a blast, and we got a kick out of seeing him experience the "magic"!!

On the ferry boat.

Daddy & Hayden rode "race cars" many times that day.

Hayden & Daddy built their very own Light Saber.

Magic Kingdom Night

On Monday, we rested at the condo and Hayden took a long nap.  We went to Magic Kindgom after dinner and had the best visit to the parks of our trip.  We got to ride every ride we wanted to ride, and the only ride we really waited for was Peter Pan.  We saw a little of the Electrical Parade, but Hayden continued his disinterest in parades/shows and was more interested in the rides.  We closed the park and didn't get home until after midnight.  We had to cancel our early morning breakfast with Mickey, but we had so much fun that night it didn't matter.

 Hayden's favorite ride.

We were looking for the knights, but they were sleeping according to Hayden.

Crashed out with his Mickey Ears.  Name on the back, of course.

Visit with Marti's & Sea World

We spent the weekend with the Marti's, our friends that live in Tampa.  We went to their house to visit with them on Sat and had such a great time they drove over to Orlando on Sunday to visit some more.  We spent Sun afternoon at Sea World, and we really enjoyed it.  Since it was Mother's Day, Jenny and I got to ride a roller coaster all by ourselves.  We ended the day with the Shamu show, and went back to our condo for dinner.  Hayden really enjoyed spending time with the Marti kids, Tristan & Quinn.  He couldn't keep anyone's name straight.  He often called Tristan "Nathan" for some reason and Quinn was "the girl".  He probably asked "What's your name" at least a hundred times that weekend.  He provided us with some humor, especiall when he called Rob "Dis Guy".

We ran out of juice glasses, so we toasted our OJ!!

Animal Kingdom

We spent a few hours Sunday morning at Animal Kingdom.  Hayden did not meet the height requirements for most of the rides, so there wasn't a ton he could do.  We thought we would check it out anyway, since our passes came with a free day.  We walked through the park and saw the animals, watched the Bug's Life show under the big tree, and rode on a dinosaur.

Hayden's favorite part, touching the crocodile scull!!

Epcot

Our day at Epcot got off to a rocky start.  Hayden got a gusher of a bloody nose while we were watching a show and it took us a while to get him to calm down and to get it to stop.  Luckily, a cast member noticed our struggles and came to help.  They brought out a big bath towel to help keep the mess under control and gave me a voucher to buy myself any new shirt I wanted, since my bright white shirt was now covered in nose bleed.  After we got cleaned up, calmed down and changed we were able to turn our day around!!  We toured the countries, stopping for fish and chips for lunch and headed home for a nap.  We went back after dinner and enjoyed some more rides and a little of the nighttime show.  Hayden's favorite ride was Spaceship Earth, and he told everyone that he had just gotten back from space, he was a space man now, and he needed to get a space suit and helmet.

Thor looks good on him, right?
