Today marks the beginning of the third month of pregnancy, which means that hopefully by Christmas I will be able to stay awake long enough to get enjoy. I have not gained any weight, but I am definitely getting a belly. New clothes are in my near future!
Here are the latest developments:
- Fingers and toes have separated
- Facial features are starting to form, including the external ear, lips and eyelids
- Nuni can actually respond to touch, it will move if the uterine wall touches it
- The baby will fit in a tablespoon, which means that even if it does move there is no way I will feel it
- With the formation of the first bone cells, the baby is no longer considered an embryo it is now a well proportioned small-scale baby
