Hayden and Paw Paw spent the day together "working" outside while Mommy, Mimi and Maw Maw ran some errands. They even got to go to Aunt Sara's house and play with Trey!! What a fun day. He wanted to go back as soon as we got home.

We have had a lot going on the month of March. Hayden started in the 3 Year Old and LOVES it. He practically jumps out of the car in the mornings and runs to his classroom. When I wake him up in the morning he asks "Mommy, can I go to the 3 Year Old room?" I can already tell that his vocabulary is expanding and he is learning all kinds of new songs and games to teach me at home :) He really likes his new teachers and is very excited that Miss Gretl(our regular babysitter) is in his room a few days a week!

We started working on replacing the flooring upstairs in the house. A combination of hardwood and carpet. Jason has done some very nice work with the wood in our hallway and the carpet is being replaced on Monday. Yay!! Getting new carpet is kind of like moving though, so I am not looking foward to that part but it will be worth it.

We have been planning our vacation in what little spare time we have, and we are so excited to get to take Hayden to Disney World & to get to visit with our friends the Marti's in May.

What a winter!

We had plenty of snow this winter to use our new sled from MawMaw & PawPaw!

New Year's Rockin' Eve

We celebrated New Year's Eve back home with my family. We exchanged gifts, ate too much, and toasted with sparkling grape juice around 10pm. We headed home shortly after that and got back to our house with a few minutes to spare before celebrating the New Year. Hayden stayed awake some how and was so excited to use his "Milk Shake"(decorated milk jug with beans inside) to make noise out on the front porch.

We were so glad that we got to spend time with so many of the special people in our lives this year. Just looking back at the photos makes me exhausted all over again :)

Dinner with the Dengler's

The Dengler's came over to give Hayden his gifts and we had dinner at Hayden's favorite restaurant, El Nopal. We also almost ate an entire pan of brownies that Julie made with her cool new brownie pan.

Christmas at Grammy's

Grammy cooked all day while we visited with other family members. After a great meal and two long days of staring at the pile of gifts under the tree, Grammy finally gave the green light to start the present opening madness. Not sure if the two year olds could have taken another minute ;)
