My two front teeth

My bottom two teeth finally popped through last weekend, so now I officially have weapons. I have taken a new interest in feeding myself, which usually results in a bath!!

Baby it is zero outside!!

I decided to pull myself up, scary.

More weapons, Guinness watch your back.

More Phots from Dec

My feet are so cool. I just noticed them a few weeks ago.

Geared up in my Blues uniform.

Dressed up for an interview.

Check out my hunting hat that doesn't fit my big head any more.

Santa visits sick kids too.

Hayden spent his first Christmas battling RSV followed by an ear infection. We managed to keep him out of the hospital, but it was a rough couple of weeks for all of us. Jason ended up catching the virus over New Year's week, and it looks like I may be getting it now. Good news is that once you have RSV in a season, you can't get it again until next season. We stayed put in the house for all of Christmas and New Year's.

Eating Paper was the best part.

New bib - dishwasher safe!

I got some new kicks.

Time out, sick baby needs to rest.

Look at the cool train Jenny, Rob, Quinn & Tristan brought by for me.

Eating mommies snowman ornaments.

Bows are fun.

Back Home

Playing in my toy box.

Guinny was sleepy after a weekend of playing at the kennel. We didn't see him until Monday night.

Trying to get that snowman.

Hayden was a very good traveler. He slept most of the way and could be entertained when he was not sleeping.

Christmas at Grammy's

We went to visit Jason's family this past weekend. It was a pleasant visit and Hayden got his first shot at opening gifts(eating paper).

All my loot from Lori, Eugene & Wanda.

Yummy Paper.

Madison eating her water baby's face.

Hayden with Grammy & David.

Look what Hannah got me.

All Better

He finally got over his cold and coughing. No more breathing treatments. We should find out about his shots tomorrow.
Is Hayden in there anywhere?

Mastered sitting up...on to crawling.

I think that is chicken and asparagus. Yummy.
He'll eat just about anything I make for him. Good boy.

Where's the music?

Must be in his head...

Half Year Birthday

Hayden turned six months old on Sunday. It is very hard to believe that we are half way there to his first birthday. We went for his 6 mo checkup on Monday, and it was quite eventful. He weighs in at 19 lbs and is 25 inches long(75th & 80th percentile). Dr. Baer is impressed with his size and his strength. We had to fill out some paperwork to get into a program for an RSV preventative monthly shot. The shots are quite pricey, so insurance preapproval is a must. Dr. got to witness his panting/wheezing that happens on occasion while we were there and explained that it will take his poor little lungs quite some time to catch up from his preemie days.

Unfortunately, that night he developed a nasty little cough and his wheezing became more frequent so we were back at the Dr. on Tuesday. We went home with a nebulizer, and we are giving him treatments every 4 hours until he is cough free for at least 2 days. He is being a trooper during his treatments, poor little guy :-( Mommy has to call the Dr. and give her a report on how he is doing until Monday. She is monitoring him very closely to make sure he has a cold and is not in the early stages of RSV.

I had quite the messy lunch. That's right, I get lunch now...and meat.

I really want to crawl.

Playing peek-a-boo

I have a cool hammer like daddy's.

I like to eat the drum.

Feeding myself a "cookie". Guinness gets the leftovers.
